Sam Totman - guitars, backing vocals (1999-present).Herman Li - guitars, backing vocals (1999-present).They have heavily slashed musical filler as of late, however. The musical filler tends to be simple over-indulgence though songs run overlong, the extended music passages are not wildly divergent from the material in which they are placed. TPW: Holding on, Give Me the Night (lyrical strength), Wings of LibertyĭragonForce's problem is they consistently have low-effort filler, and the sloppiness shows up in the lyrics more often than the music. UB: Heroes of our Time, Reasons to Live (lyrical strength), Scars of Yesterday (lyrical strength), E.P.M. IR: TtFaF (can't dispute the impact and popularity, even if it could be greater than warranted), Body Breakdown (dat bass), The Flame of Youth SF: My Spirit Will Go On, Fury of the Storm, Soldiers of the Wasteland, Once in a Lifetime VotD: Valley of the Damned, Starfire, Revelations, Evening Star. I just think it came to only having so many innovative ideas at a time, or writing solid, non-cliched lyrics. I actually look at Dragonforce the way I look at AC/DC because they have their strongest work spread throughout several albums, making their "greatest hits" collection far superior to any individual album.
